THE HOME BUYERS' PLAN PLAN (HBP) IS A PROGRAM THAT ALLOWS YOU TO WITHDRAW FROM YOUR RRSP PLANS TO BUY A HOME FOR YOURSELF

The Canadian government's Home Buyers' Plan (HBP) allows first time home buyers to borrow tax free up to $35,000 from their RRSP's for a down payment. RRSP funds you borrow must be in your account for at least 90 days prior to withdrawal.
